She attended medical school at the University of Texas Health and Science Center. After completing her residency training at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York, Dr. Wexler went on to complete her hematology/oncology fellowship at St. Vincent's Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Wexler is also the principal/secondary author of three publications, including one in the Textbook of Uncommon Cancer, 3rd Edition.
