Board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, and hematology, Dr. Superfin graduated Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North Carolina with honors. Upon completion of her internal medicine internship and residency training at the University of California, Davis (UCD) she went on to complete her medical oncology and hematology fellowship at UCD Medical Center.

Dr. Superfin is the principal author of three research papers, one of which was presented at the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Hematology in 2005. Dr. Superfin is a member of American Society of Hematology (ASH), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Association of Northern California Oncologists (ANCO), Alameda/Contra Costa Medical Association (ACCMA), and a frequent speaker in the local community/patient-oriented support groups.

Since joining Contra Costa Oncology in 2008, Dr. Superfin is an investigator participating in research and clinical trials of John Muir Hospital and an active leader in conducting clinical trials in gynecology-oncology.

Dr. Superfin is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian languages.
