Amir H. Modarressi, M.D. is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology, and received his medical degree and completed his internship at Azad University School of Medicine in Tehran, Iran. After completion of his internal medicine residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Dr. Modarressi went on to complete a hematology/oncology fellowship at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey at UMDNJ - Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. He also completed a blood and marrow transplantation fellowship at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, University of South Florida in Tampa.

Most recently, Dr. Modarressi served as Medical Director at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine. He is fluent in Persian-Farsi.
